Vasu Eda — Founder
Vasu Eda's goal in founding the company, and what he continues to ensure it achieves, is to help students reach their college goals: finding the best-fit college where they will thrive, guiding them with a plan so they're positioned to get accepted, and helping them obtain the best financial option to pay for a college education.
Vasu is the author of Get Job Ready: How to Land Your Dream Job Out of College, published by Penguin Random House. He is an internationally recognized expert on youth employability and regularly speaks at colleges on how students can gain valuable job experience and successfully transition from college to career.
Vasu's professional journey includes founding Boniva Software, an on-demand talent management and e-learning company later acquired by SSA Global. He has also shaped corporate strategy and led mergers and acquisitions at Lucent Technologies and Intel Corporation.
He holds an MBA from Columbia University, an MS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University. Vasu lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and has firsthand experience with the college application process, having guided all three of his children — one a UC Berkeley graduate and two Stanford graduates — through it successfully.
