About the Founder

Vasu Eda's goal in founding the company, and what he has continued to ensure the company achieves, is to help students reach their college goals: finding the best fit college where they will thrive, guiding them with a plan so they are positioned to get accepted to college, and helping them to obtain the best financial option to pay for a college education.

Vasu is the author of Get Job Ready: How to Land Your Dream Job Out of College, published by Penguin Random House. He is an internationally recognized expert on youth employability and he regularly speaks at colleges on how students can gain valuable job experience and how to successfully transition from a college to career.

Vasu’s professional journey includes founding Boniva Software, an on-demand talent management and e-learning company that was later acquired by SSA Global. He has also shaped corporate strategy and led mergers and acquisitions at industry leaders Lucent Technologies and Intel Corporation, bringing a blend of entrepreneurial insight and corporate experience to every endeavor.

He holds an MBA from Columbia University, an MS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University.

Vasu lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and has firsthand experience with the college application process, having guided all three of his children, one a UC Berkeley graduate and two Stanford graduates, through it successfully.
